R0GU3 is an upcoming game set in the year 2100, where you play as the sole human survivor on Earth. Your mission is to confront and defeat the formidable AI entity known as L.O.K.I., which has seized control over the planet. By liberating the Earth from L.O.K.I.’s grasp, you will pave the way for the human race’s eventual return. 

This is summed up really well by the intro cutscene…

Earth, our once vibrant home, had become a battleground. The rise of artificial intelligence promised a new era of progress. But with great power came unforeseen consequences.
